Hard time for Software employees…..

Recent drop in share market not only creates problems for Big software organizations bust also effects its employees.Yes friends the down of this market value makes a heard time for the organization employees,i.e in order to over come these losses they simply firing off there employees mostly in Asian countries.In order to hide this hey simply conduct a test and on that basis they ask there employees to write a self resignation letter stating ‘that due to some personal reasons i am resigning my job’.Where as mostly the freshers are the sufferers to this.Furtherer there is rumor that they can reduce the salary of a employee.Among these following are some organizations :-

 

  • TCS:-fire 500 employees in india.And thinking to cut down the salaries.here
  • IBM:-about 2000 peoples.
  • Accenture:-Its too around 2000.
  • Yahoo:-in between 500 to 2000 .here.

Lets Hope the market comes to steady state so that we employees can breath freely.

    Well sources said TCS has mainly fired those people who they recruited from a small degree collages(MSc) ,don’t how much its true?

    Yes IBM also firing peoples and this is not fair.by d way its not good to play with thr life.just by asking to write test before one week and when ever asking to manager about the test.they are saying its not dat much important so dont worry and forcing peoples to write for pink slips. even some peoples are working in good project and working hard but due to bad performance in test thay have fired.

    Again recently I heard Satyam reduce there head count by 4000.Whats happening think this will continue till US elections.

    This is what Darwin’s theory is about. “Survival of the fittest”.
    I have been working in software for almost 20 years now. And I have seen so many so called SOFTWARE ENGINEERS, who are good for nothing.

    As the requirement grows, companies (HR) recruit employees who just know how to spell SOFTWARE. These employees simply waste time in office without any productivity. Management doesn’t even care about what these employees are doing. Every team has 2-3 good employees in a bunch of 10, who does all the hard work. I have seen so many situations where these GOOD FOR NOTHINGs are paid more than the good skilled employee. Over to this, these GOOD FOR NOTHINGs keep on changing their job for every 1-2 years. This makes things really hard for the company/seniors in maintaining the consistent flow of the performance/work.

    This is the time for GOOD FOR NOTHINGs to recharge/replace their battery. I don’t think there will be any problem for the ones with skilled and have a confidence in what they are doing.

    Moral of the story…
    Don’t follow others, think wide, think your own, and think something out of box.
